We support trainees with making job applications to schools. We offer advice and hold letter writing and interview technique workshops to help them feel fully prepared for when the big day comes.  It’s no wonder so many of our trainees go on to secure jobs locally.

“The SCITT course was brilliant,  having worked in school prior I was already confident in the classroom setting. The course supported and built on skills for planning and teaching effective lessons to all children. The support from all of the schools involved was outstanding! It was great to see how different schools can be whilst still providing quality teaching and learning to their pupils.”

“I have lots of great memories of the year spent training to be a teacher with BBL. The bond we formed as a group of trainee teachers was really special and we formed some great friendships. Looking back, the staff involved in both the training and mentoring prepared me so well for my career in teaching. I would not be where I am today if it wasn’t for their support.”

“My mentor was so supportive during my time on placement. She helped me develop as a teacher through her positive feedback and by making me feel welcome every day. I always felt able to approach her with any situation. Anyone in the future would be lucky to have her as a mentor.”
